In second place, there is the United States proving its toughness as a large automotive market with sales reaching 16,091,543 units, growing 3 percent from 2023. Despite being below China, US sales figures still show strong demand and diverse consumer preferences. India, with rapid economic growth, managed to rank third with sales of 4,835,407 units, also recorded a positive growth of 3 percent. India’s huge market potential makes it a key player who is increasingly taken into account in the global automotive industry.

Meanwhile, Japan, known for its automotive technology innovation, had to settle for being in fourth place with sales of 4,376,983 units, a decrease of 8 percent. This decline could be due to various factors, including demographic changes and domestic consumer preferences. Meanwhile, Germany maintained its position in fifth place with stable sales at 3,092,372 units. As the center of the European automotive industry, Germany’s performance reflects market conditions in the region.

The most attractive movement was seen in Brazil and Russia which were green. Brazil showed significant growth of 14 percent with sales of 2,481,421 units, up to sixth. The surge in sales in Brazil indicates economic recovery and increased people’s purchasing power. Even more astonishing is Russia’s performance which shot 48 percent to the 12th position with sales of 1,571,272 units. This fantastic growth deserves further scrutiny, given the ongoing geopolitical conditions.

The Fall Of The Indonesian Automotive Market

The multipurpose car model (multipurpose vehicle, MPV) nicknamed the million people’s car recorded a whole sales of 55,838 units.
