IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently did its third Mother’s Day baskets fundraiser drawing.
This year’s grand prize, donated by Grayson Jewelers, is a “Ones. We. Love.” gold-toned stainless steel oval love locket on a stainless steel chain with four sterling silver O.W.L. Love Locket Charms — XOXO, heart, cross, white topaz bezel and owl. The value of the piece is $159. They also donated one of their bestselling Bahama Mama Jewelry candles that comes with a surprise ring or piece of jewelry that has a value from $10 up to $7,500.
Teresa Schettler was the grand prize winner.
“I’d like to thank all the super donors that helped make our Mother’s Day raffle a huge success,” Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Suzanne Larson said. “Our chamber board of directors, ambassadors and community partners all sold tickets and I’m so thankful for their support.”
Larson also thanks Grayson Jewelers for supporting the raffle by supplying the grand prize.
All money raised goes to the Chamber Ambassador program, which assists with small business grants to chamber members.
The chamber’s next major fundraiser event will be the Golf Outing planned for Friday, Aug. 19, at Timberstone Golf Course. Anyone interested in participating can go to the DACC website at www.dickinsonchamber.com.
